“CONFESSION OF MURDER”

A purported serial killer publicly confesses to his crimes after the statute of limitations has passed in the crime action thriller Confession of Murder. Television actor Park Si Hoo (The Princess' Man) leaps to the silver screen as the killer in question, while acclaimed actor Jung Jae Young (The Divine Weapon) is the detective trying to get to the bottom of the case. Director Jung Byung Gil, who previously directed the stuntman documentary Action Boys, packs Confession of Murder with impressive action scenes and a streak of wry humor on top of its spiraling murder mystery.

Harried detective Choi Hyung Goo (Jung Jae Young) was in charge of investigating the serial murder case of 10 women, but 15 years passed without the culprit being caught. After the statute of limitations has expired, Lee Du Seok (Park Si Hoo) publishes the tell-all book "I Am The Murderer," confessing to the murders in detail. The book becomes a bestseller and the charismatic self-proclaimed killer turns into a celebrity, challenging Choi for his inability to lock him behind bars. Meanwhile, a potential victim's relative seeks revenge and yet another man steps forth claming to be the killer. Where does the truth really lie?
