After love : NEWS

Park Si-hoo and Yoon Eun-hye team up for ‘After Love’

‘After Love’, a new Korean-and-Chinese-made film, started filming. The shooting will be held in both Korea and China according to the four-month schedule.
‘After Love’ will depict a sad story of a cold-hearted man who understands his wife’s love towards him long after she died.

The film was decided to be released simultaneously in Korea, China and Japan. Moreover, it is expected to be a well-made romance movie with the beautiful appearance as it took good two years just to spot beautiful places in Korea and China for filming.

‘After Love’ also draws attention from fans and prospective viewers with its cast. Actor Park Si-hoo has decided to make a comeback after three years of absence since 2012, in which he appeared on television series ‘Cheongdam-dong Alice’. Whether he would be able to get on his feet after the scandal he was involved in is a matter of interest. In addition, the news that actress Yoon Eun-hye, a renowned actress and hallyu star in Asia was confirmed to team up with him made it possible for the film to release simultaneously in the three countries.

Meanwhile, Park Si-hoo proved his undiminished reign in China by topping the ‘123fans’ chart as the most popular Korean celebrity. Even more surprisingly, he has maintained the top for 94 consecutive weeks proving that he is true Asia’s prince.

‘After Love’ is expected to release by the second half of 2015.

After LOVE : Yoon Eunhye in new Korean-Chinese film “After Love”

Yoon Eunhye has been cast in a new movie with Park Shihoo for a Korean-Chinese filmcalled After Love.

Known for her roles in dramas Goong and The 1st Shop of Coffee Prince, Korean actress Yoon Eunhye will be filming her first Korean-Chinese film collaboration mid-November on Jeju Island. The movie co-stars actor Park Shihoo in his first major domestic project since his date rape scandal last year.

After Love will be directed by Eo Ilseon, who previously helmed the 2012 Korean film In Between. The new movie After Love will feature Shihoo and Eunhye as husband and wife who break-up after not fully appreciating each other. Following its initial filming on Jeju Island, production will move to Beijing next year. The film is expected to receive a simultaneous release in both China and Korea in the second half of 2015.

The casting announcement follows Yoon Eunhye’s recent visit to Beijing late October. The actress was in town to promote a short film competition organized by CJ Culture Foundation, Chinese People’s Association for Friendship With Foreign Countries (CPAFFC), and Chinese Central Television (CCTV). Called “Pursue Your Dream”, the project attracted over 300 submission from aspiring filmmakers aged 15-29 from both Korean and China.

At the inaugural event, Eunhye participated in a short ribbon cutting ceremony alongside Chinese actor Qin Hao and Korean actor Ahn Sungki. Qin Hao, in particular, who is in Song Hyekyo’s new movie The Queens, was able to speak a few lines in Korean to the audience in attendance.

The event also saw video messages from various talents showing their support for the film competition, including Kim Soohyun, Ha Jiwon, and Luhan.

Yoon Eunhye spoke to various Chinese media outlets in the media scrum about her admiration for Chinese films including Ann Hui’s latest A Simple Life. “I recently went to watch Ann Hui’s A Simple Life. This was my first time watching a Chinese movie at the cinema, but because there weren’t any Korean subtitles, I didn’t quite understand it. However, the film gave me a specially good impression. Even though there weren’t any subtitles, I was able to grasp a general concept of the story through the actors’ expressions, and it made a deep impression on me.” Eunhye also relayed that she has also seen Beijing Bicycle and hopes to one day be able to collaborate with director Wang Xiaoshuai.
